John 12:37 to 50 - Jewish Unbelief
Are you devoted to Jesus. Do you love Him? Are you extravagant in your worship and recognise His value? Do you want to worship him more than material things and more than being religious?
But Jesus is not a king on your terms. He is a victorious king who wins a great victory but He comes to bring peace, by His blood shed for sinners. Do you want Him as your servant or you master?
John in his gospel teaches about expressing our devotion and seeing clearly the kind of King Jesus is.

Hebrews 8:1 to 13 - Jesus, Priest of the New Covenant
What do we need to have a direct relationship with God? The Lord Jesus Christ, our great High Priest, presented a better sacrifice and ministry than any other in the past, in order to bring us to God. He is sitting at God’s right hand in glory because he offered the perfect sacrifice. He is mediator of the New Covenant, which has replaced the Old Covenant under which we were condemned. Under this New Covenant, we are given a new nature as God works in us, a new identity as his people and the forgiveness of sins through the perfect sacrifice of our great High Priest.

Hebrews 7:1 to 28 – Jesus, the eternal high priest
There is not a moment or a day that goes by when Jesus does not stand in our place, representing us to God. Jesus is better than the Old Testament priests because He lives forever, he can intercedes for us and he really does meet our needs because He was the perfect sacrifice – once for all.

All Age - the voice of love and power
We have an illness that is fatal and incurable. It separates us from God and from other people and will overwhelm us. The illness is our sin – we don’t want to worship God and we don’t want to serve Him. Our biggest problem is not a lack of self-esteem or false guilt. Our biggest problem is that God is not our friend.
Jesus meets a leper and showed that he is willing and able to help him. He cures the leper and gives a great picture of what he can do for us. Jesus connected with our world. Jesus can help you

1 Peter 5:8 to 14 - Wake up and Fight
1 Peter has been about being strangers in the world, living disctinctive lives by submitting to all authorities, experiencing at times suffering in all it's forms and in this way being sanctified (made holy). All this following the example of Christ
Peter ends by reminding them that they are in a spiritual battle with the devil but secure in Christ - they stand firm by trusting the power and the grace of God.

Hebrews 6:13 to 20 - God's Promise Our Hope
Our anchor in the storms of life - the trials and temptations that almost knock us completely off course is that God's promises give us certain hope, made certain by Jesus who has gone ahead of us.
