Mark 4:1 to 20 - Sowing and Reaping

Parables both conceal and reveal. To those with open hearts, eager to learn, the parables are stories that reveal spiritual truth. To those with closed hearts they are a secret kept hidden. In the end it's only God who can change hearts but the focus on this first parable (the sower) is on the different responses to the preaching of the gospel.
